According to a report by WABetaInfo, a website that tracks the development of WhatsApp, the new feature will allow users to send photos with a resolution of up to 1080p. This is significantly higher than the current limit of 1600×1200 pixels.

The report also says that the new feature will be available in both the WhatsApp Android and iOS apps. However, it is not clear when the feature will be rolled out to the public.

How to send HD photos on WhatsApp

To send an HD photo on WhatsApp, follow these steps:

  4. Tap on the photo icon.
  5. Select the photo you want to send.
  6. Tap on the arrow icon in the top right corner.
  7. Tap on the HD icon in the top right corner.
  8. Tap on Send.

The photo will be sent in HD quality.

Limitations on WhatsApp
